NIH/CDC SBIR Grant Awarded

We’re thrilled to announce that we were awarded a NIH/CDC SBIR Grant:

“Engaging Teen Bystanders to Prevent Sexual Violence: A Web-based Approach”

The year-long project will involve several components: a documentary of a teen
victim story; a state-wide PSA contest for budding teen film makers; and
the development of a pilot serial drama addressing issues that lead to teen dating violence.

Congrats Atlanta Women's Foundation 2009 Grantee Partners!

There’s nothing like spending the morning with a roomful of  like-minded women!  Strong coffee and bagels were followed by a panel discussion with the 2009 grantee partners: Georgia Justice Project, Community Advanced Practice Nurses, Women’s Policy Education Fund and the Juvenile Justice Fund.
